Format: K6U500, K12U750, K12 , 5 round Swiss G30 or G25, d5.
Round Times: 9:30, 11:00, 12:15, 1:30, 2:45 Awards 4:00 pm or before.
Awards: 26 Trophies. All Divisions: 5 individual trophies and 3 team trophies and medals to all.
Most Improved Player: Trophy to most improved player beginning with October tournaments and ending with Gradelevel. WSCF ratings will be used for this contest. Winner must have competed in at least 4 WSCF tournaments. Applications will be available at the tournament. Be prepared to list tournaments for at least 4 tournaments and final rating as of March 20th.
Awards: All Divisions: 5 individual trophies and 3 team trophies and medals to all.
Biggest Upset: Trophy to the largest upset in the tournament.

Kalahari Reservations: Chess rate is $209. (Normal spring break rates are $299 and $309) Friday evening March 29 and Saturday evening March 30, Fee based on 4 – 6 guests, and room comes with water park passes. Chess rate deadline by February 27th. To register go to Kalahari Reservations.* On the registration page you will be prompted to choose guest type, then choose “attendee”, then choose your room type and arrival and departure dates. After 2-27 the chess rate may be available but not guaranteed.
