YMCAThis was the fourth WSCF tournament hosted by the YMCA in the past year.
With only 5 participants, the K-3 section completed 4 rounds.
K-6 and K-12 sections completed 5 rounds.
Round one began at about 10:30 am, and the awards ceremony was completed at about 3:30 pm.
Several players took advantage of the "open" nature of the sections and "played-up" a section. This reduced the size of the K-3 section and increased the K-12 group.

In the K-3 section, 2nd grader Pranav Kulkarni from Brookfileld Academy, took home the top prize.

In round 5, Parker Sumwalt, a 6th grader from Mequon's Lakeshore Middle school, and Greg Reese Jr., a 4th grader from Mill Valley Elementry in Muskego, paired off to determine who would bring home the first place trophy in the K-6 division. With nearly equal material, and the clock running down, the players agreed to a draw. Parker took home the 2nd place trophy, and Greg won first place with 4 1/2 points.

Eighth grader, Andrew Gorectke, from New Berlin West Middle School, captured first place on tie breaks with a score of 4.0 to win the K-12 first place trophy.

The top 3 players and teams in each division received a trophy, and all remaining players received a medal.
