WSCF is working with Wauwatosa Recreation Department and offering two camps the week of June 17. A five-day beginners class will meet Monday through Friday 9 am to 12:00. The intermediate class will meet from 1:00 to 4:00. 
WSCF considers a beginner to be someone who knows how to move the pieces and perhaps has been in a chess club for a year or has played in WSCF tournaments and has a rating of less than 600.
An intermediate player would be a player who has played chess for a year or two with parents or friends, been in the club for one or two years and has a rating from 600 to 1000. Students rated above 1000 would not find this camp a challenge.
If you are unsure of which section then register for the morning class and if not a good fit then the player can move to the afternoon camp.

The fee for the 5-day camp is $90 if in district and $105 if not in district.
Registration code for the beginner camp is 454925-03 and the afternoon intermediate camp is 454925-04.
