Adult Leaders Seminar – October 4, 10am-1pm
Chess coaches, club leaders, and parents are invited to this seminar where Bob will present his accumulated experience from the past 30 years. Topics covered include establishing clubs, strategies for motivating students and parent volunteers, preparing students for tournaments, and approaches for teaching both beginning and intermediate students. He will emphasize what to teach and how to teach it.
The seminar will be held at Old Guard Games meeting room, behind Valentine Coffee.
