Masks will be required at all times. 

Format:       4 Divisions: K3, K6, K12 and Adult Open (WSCF Rated) Scholastic divisions will be 5 rnd Swiss, G25, d5.  Adult Open will be 4 rnd Swiss, G40, d5.

   Adult – Child Competition.   An adult can be paired for scoring purposes with a student player of their choice.  Adults will play in their own division and children will compete in their normal divisions.  Score of each partner will be added for this competition.

                Combo can be:  Father – Son, Mother – Son, Mother-Daughter, Coach – player, Uncle – Nephew etc.     Trophies each to the top three pairs.    I.e.)    Adult score 3 + student score 4 = 7 total score.  The highest of USCF or WSCF ratings will be used for pairing purposes   If ties the winner will be determined by the highest Adult scores and using the Adult division tie breaks if needed.

Awards:       7 individual trophies and 3 team trophies in each division.  Award ceremony between 3 and 4 pm.  Medals to all.   

 Entry:   $15  per player for advance registration, $20 on-site registration.   Adult registration fee:  $15 register in advance, $20 on site.  

 Registration:    Check-in from 8:00 to 8:45 Building opens at 8:00 am.     Onsite registration for round 1 ends at 8:30. Round 1 begins close to 9:00. Pre-registrants      arriving after 8:45 and on-site registrations arriving after 8:30 can enter the tournament round 2.   Please check in as early as possible.  For advance registration, register online at www.wisconsinscholasticchess.org   before 11:00pm January March 3rd at 11:00 pm.       Registration fee will be paid at the tournament.   Checks payable to:    MGIS
