How to Register
Please register and submit your payment through our website. If you already have a username, kindly provide it during registration; if not, WSCF will create an account on your behalf and send you the necessary login credentials. Register by 5:00 p.m. Friday to participate in that weekend’s tournament. If you wish to join a team, please ask your coach or chess club leader to contact WSCF at Danielle@wisconsinscholasticchess.org.

The entry fee for this tournament is $30; after February 1, the fee will be $20.

Format: G15, 3 rounds, no time delay. A 2-minute break follows the last game of each round.
Points: Total points accumulate over 24 weeks. Win = 1 point, Draw = 0.5 point, Loss = 0 points.
Divisions: U800 and Open. Players begin in U800, moving to Open as their rating increases. The lower division cutoff rises monthly: u850 (Nov 1), u900 (Dec 1), u925 (Jan 1), u950 (Feb 1), and u1000 (Mar 1).
Team Scores: Team scores are based on cumulative results over 24 weeks, using the top four members’ scores. Each team must have at least three members.
Watch Live: Coaches, parents, and chess leaders can view games live through their own ChessKid accounts. Players must join a ChessKid group, with adults acting as free coaches. For help, contact danielle@wisconsinscholasticchess.org. Adults may not assist players or use  chess engines during games; violations will result in expulsion from current and future tournaments.
How to play: After you register and pay, the tournament will show on your account home page. Click the tournament, then select “join” 15 minutes  before it starts. Wait for the countdown—when it reaches zero, your game will appear with the clock running.
Results: Posted online within 24–48 hours after each Sunday round.
