Covid Protocol: Masks will be required at all times in the playing area and in skittles.
Three Divisions : K3, K6 and K12 G30, 5 or 6 rounds
Awards: K3: Three team trophies, individual trophies to top 5 players and medals to all.
K6 : Three team trophies, individual trophies to top 5 players and medals to all.
K12 : Three team trophies, individual trophies to top 75 players and medals to all.
Entry: $10 per player for advance registration, $15 on-site registration.
Check-in from 8:00 to 8:30. Round 1 begins close to 9:00. Onsite registration for round 1 ends at 8:15. Pre-registrants arriving after 8:30 and on site registrations arriving after 8:15 can enter the tournament round 2. Please check in as early as possible. For advance registration, register online at www.wisconsinscholasticchess.org before midnight on Dec 2nd. Registration fee will be paid at the tournament, cash or by check. If paying by check then make checks payable to Evangel Assembly of God.
Lunch: Available for purchase on site.
Byes: ½ point bye available at registration for rounds 1 through 4.
Can not request a bye for the last round.
Chess Sets: This year we are implementing a new policy to supply chess boards for tournaments. Chess clubs and teams are asked to bring their box of chess sets and set them out for the tournaments. The TD’s will always have a set of 20 boards but will need the host and teams to help make up the difference depending upon the size of the tournament.
