Format: K3, K6, & K12 divisions, 5 or 6 rounds, G30 or G25, d5.
Awards:
K3: 3 team trophies, individual trophies to top 3 players and medals to all.
K6: 3 team trophies, individual trophies to top 3 players and medals to all.
K12 3 team trophies, individual trophies to top 3 players and medals to all.
Award Ceremony around 3:30 or 4:00 pm if not before.
Entry: $15 per player for advance registration, $20 on-site registration.
Check-in from 8:00 to 8:30. Round 1 begins close to 9:00. Onsite registration for round 1 ends at 8:15. Pre-registrants arriving after 8:30 and on site registrations arriving after 8:15 can enter the tournament round 2. Please check in as early as possible. For advance registration, register online at www.wisconsinscholasticchess.org before 11:00 pm on October 26th. . Registration fee will be paid at the tournament. Make checks payable to Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
Lunch: Available for purchase on-site. Chess Store will be open for this event.

Byes: ½ point bye available for one round, only in advance by email to td@wisconsinscholasticchess.org. Rounds 1 through 5 only. Students may leave for 1 or more rounds and re-enter the tournament. Half point bye will be awarded when player reports to the Tournament director upon arrival. Please do not cross name of pre-registration list until player arrives. When taking a bye in the middle of the tournament please inform the TD before you leave early enough so player will not be paired. Best to call when in route upon return so player is paired for the next round.
