Eligibility:   This tournament is open to all students in grades Kindergarten through 12th.  

 

Location:   Craig Montessori School:   7667 W. Congress Street, Milwaukee 53218

                                

 

Format:     Four Divisions, WSCF K3, WSCF K6, WSCF K12, and Adult. 5 round Swiss, G30 or G25, d5.

                         K5 is kindergarten through 5th grade. K12 is 6th grade through 12th grade.

 

Awards:       Five individual trophies and three team trophies. Medals to all participating.

                       In adult-child combo contest trophies to top 3 pairs.

Entry:           $10 per player for advanced registration, $15 on-site registration. Both are paid at door by

                         Cash or Check made payable to: Craig Montessori School     $ 15 for adults registered in      

and $20 onsite.            

 

Registration:   For advanced registration go to: www.wisconsinscholasticchess.org by Thursday, March 26th  

                           at 11 pm. Please check-in on day of tournament from 8:00 to 8:45. Building opens at 8 am.

                           On-site registration is open from 8 am to 8:40 am.   Round 1 will begin close to 9 am.  

                           NOTE: Pre-registrants arriving after 8:40 and on-site registrations arriving after 8:30 will

                           probably be required to enter round 2. Award ceremony will begin between 2:00 and 3:30.

 

Byes:   Need to skip a round? Half point byes available at check in for rounds 1 through 4.

Concessions: Beginning at 8:15 AM w/breakfast, lunch, beverages and snack items.

 

Supervision: At least one designated adult supervisor must be present, always during tournament to oversee your school’s team or individual participants who are in K through 8th grade.
