Please follow these links to see the description of these camps:

WSCF Intermediate Camp

WSCF Advanced Camp

In all of the camps instructors will focus on the mastery of skills regarding checkmates, tactics, openings and endings. Each camp will have a Swiss style tournament with trophies to the top three and medals to all. Students are certainly encouraged to attend more than one camp if interested.

The prices for these camps vary according to the recreation department and most camp are three hours each day for five days Monday through Friday. Again, please register! WSCF has scheduled twenty camps for this summer, beginning with initial week camps in collaboration with the Nicolet and Sussex Recreation Departments. Registration for each camp is managed through the respective recreation departments; a complete list of camps and links to these departments can be found here: WSCF Summer 2026 – Chess Camp Schedule.

Register for these camps via the recreation department. The exception for registration is with the intermediate camps and advance camps where registration will be on the WSCF website.

In addition to camps in Glendale and Sussex, sessions will be held in Hartford, West Bend, Milwaukee Riverside, New Berlin, Fond du Lac, Oak Creek, Wauwatosa, Greenfield, Brookfield, Grafton, and Kohler. Multiple camps spanning two weeks are available in Hartford-Slinger, Nicolet, Oak Creek, Brookfield, West Bend, and Sussex.

Two specialty camps—Intermediate and Advanced—are provided for students who have attended regular camps multiple times and have earned trophies.
